I have no doubt that next year will be much quieter, I am really looking forward to keep on studying and getting into new projects. As far as I am concerned, the summer holidays will be a time to rest and concentrate on what is going to happen after. Since I am just a part-time teacher, getting the next job...

Please leave a comment on my  post + 3 of your classmates' posts.  Word Count for post 7:  230 words Include at least one example of these connectors on each category. Write about your favourite book, include the following information: What is it about? (plot, genre, purpose) Why do you like it so much? How did it get to you? (Was it a gift? Did you buy it?) Remember to use the conjunctions listed on top. My favourite book. To begin with, I have had many favourite books throughout my life, when I  was a child I was an avid reader. Correspondingly, one of my first childhood memories is of reading at my mother's job. I always have a liking for illustrated books. For this reason, Literature and Visual arts have been two of my constant interests. Eventhough I haven't taken the time to continue reading as much as I would like. Nevertheless, I will concentrate on one of my favourite books in my collection, it is a photobook named "Artists ...

Write about a postgraduate course that you would consider taking in the future. Include: - Reasons to do the course - Subject(s) you would like to study - Where you would like to study (Chile or abroad) - How you would like to study (distance learning, blended system, part-time course, etc) - Any other relevant ideas - Make comments on 3 of your classmates’ posts + a comment on your teacher's post. - Word Count: 220 words Since I am just finishing my BA in Art, and at the same time I am just starting with a new job, I haven't thought about  doing a Postgraduate in the short term. Nonetheless, I would love to do an Artist Residency in a foreign country. Taking some time outside is very important for fresh artists, and many people try to go to the main cultural centers, such as Berlin or London. In my case, I am not that interested in going to those places. If I had all the time and money available. I would study in Scotland, in The Glas...

(210 words) Well, This is an awkward question for me, since I am currently working and actually, I enjoy my job a lot.  Today I realize that it is quite different from what I thought It would be when I  was studying way back in the early 2000's. All in all, I think it is a nice living.  Regarding my future plans, I would love to continue teaching, I have found a lot of happiness working with people. Nonetheless, I would like to travel some more, but making it count. I would like to travel to different parts of Chile, in order to meet and learn new customs and ways of living.  I know it sounds a bit naive for some ,  but I truly believe that teaching is not just a matter o...

Imagen
For this post, you have to talk about your favourite artist, please keep in mind the following: -What kind of art does he/she make? -What is your favourite piece of art? ( In which ways does it influence your work?) -Talk about his/her life You have to write at least 200 words. Don't forget to comment ( 3 classmates). To comment is to care ;) Robert Rauschenberg To begin with, I think this is a hard question since there are so many artists -local and international- that I find interesting. Even more, each day one gets to know newer art makers, or rediscover some old forgotten work from the past, It is a never ending quest. At this moment, the only artist I can think of is the late Robert Rauschenberg, an extraordinary american artist, who almost single-handedly redefined the definition of modern art. When I was younger, I could not distinguish Rauschenberg's work from some of its contemporaries.  He was a bit too prolific, too hard to nail down (or classify). ...
